Free nightly entertainment during Railway Days. The City of Revelstoke welcomes residents and visitors to enjoy Music in the Plaza nightly. This program is sponsored by the City of Revelstoke and presented by the Revelstoke Arts Council. Enjoy a wide variety of talent in the heart or Revelstoke's historic downtown, in Grizzly Plaza.

Classic radio plays performed by the Revelstoke Radio Players, 7:30 pm at the Nickelodeon Museum. Call (250) 837-5250 for reservations.

August 16 & 17 ~ Kettle Valley Brakemen ~ 2:00 PM.
Performing at the Revelstoke Railway Museum. Regular admission applies.

August 16 & 17 ~ Orchid Ensemble Workshop ~ 2:00 PM.
The Orchid Ensemble offers a special program for young audiences, featuring instruments, music, and stories from China and around the world. The presentation acts as a vehicle for greater understanding of Asian culture and includes student participation, 2:00 pm at the Community Centre. Registration $10 per student, reserve at the Revelstoke Railway Museum call (250) 837-6060.

August 16 & 17 ~ Orchid Ensemble Performance ~ 7:30 PM.
Vancouver’s renowned Orchid Ensemble blends ancient musical instruments and traditions from China and beyond, creating a beautiful new sound that is both creative and distinct, 7:30 pm at the Community Centre. Tickets Adults $18.00, Students $10.00 Family packages (limited #) $50.00, available at the door, advance ticket sales available at the Revelstoke Railway Museum, call (250) 837-6060.

Opening August 17 & ongoing ~ August Dickey Photos Exhibition, and Members Summer Exhibition.
Opening at the Visual Arts Centre, August 17 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Open Tuesday through Friday and Sunday, 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm thereafter. Admission by donation.

August 20 ~ Dickey Photographs, Images of Revelstoke ~ 2:00 PM.
Slide show presentation at the Revelstoke Museum & Archives, 2:00 pm. $5 per person.

August 20 ~ Vintage Film Night Featuring Historic Railway Films ~ 7:30 PM.

August 22 & 23 ~ Phantasmagoria Magic Lantern Show ~ 7:30 PM.
Professor Mervyn Heard from England will present his Grand Victorian Show at the Nickelodeon Museum. Call (250) 837-5250 for reservations.

Performances throughout the day at the Revelstoke Railway Museum. Regular admission applies.

August 23 & 24 ~ Water…on the Rocks! ~ 2:00 PM.
Presented by Mountain WIT, Parks Canada's very own team of professional actors. At the Revelstoke Railway Museum.
